Ayesha is a student of Psychology and learnt calligraphy 2 years ago. Calligraphy and Mandala art is not just a hobby but is also her passion which is why she had participated in some exhibition to gain some exposure.

About Artist: Rumaisa Farooq is 14 years old girl who really enjoys Art and finds it therapeutic. She spends a lot of time drawing and painting as it allows her to apply her creativity and improve with every stroke of a brush and flick of a pencil. She particularly enjoys Arabic Calligraphy as it allows freedom to bring words to life.
About Artpiece: ‘All praise to Allah’ is written in the Thuluth script in bold and black against a gold-coloured canvas.

About artist: Hadeeqa Soha Nafih is a 9 year old little girl who found joy in drawing, colouring and painting. When she was introduced to calligraphy she was excited to try it on her own. Alhamdullilah (All Praise to Allah), this is her first work and pray she goes a long way In sha Allah (If Allah Wills).
About Art piece: A combination of simplicity and purity, Hadeeqa infuses a special supplication: ‘My Lord, increase me with knowledge.’ It is written in English calligraphy, with a corner filled with rosy, blooming flowers.

About artist: Anne Isaac is a keen artist with a passion for calligraphy and Islamic patterns. She specialises in making cards and bookmarks.

About the Artist: Art is one of her hobbies, she considers Arabic a beautiful language and loves to do calligraphy as a form of physical art. This is some of her calligraphy work in her beginner days.

This is a Thuluth script presenting verse 82 from Surah Ya-Seen (The Heart of the Quran) “His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, “Be,” and it is.” It presents the supreme power of Allah where each person has a mission like a canvas with the colours we feel, observe and experience.

Name of Artistic piece: The Seal of The Prophets
In Islam, people believe in a variety of prophets that are also found in other religions. Muslims believe Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the seal of the Prophets. Muhammad’s name is written in Arabic calligraphy style with an image of the Dome of the Prophet’s mosque. A vibrant fusion of yellow, green, red, purple, and black evokes light, vitality, and spiritual energy.

About Artist: Arva Attarwala has been doing henna since childhood and professionally 11 years ago.
