In 1933, the largest global cancer organization, the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) established in Switzerland. Their goal is to support the cancer community to promote better equity by igniting a surge of urgency for governmental intervention and communal understanding of cancer for effective patient care. World Cancer Day (WCD) began by UICC in 2000 and aims to gather global communities, organizations, and people from a multitude of settings virtually and in person with activities that bring them together to create a lasting impact on cancer on one day, 4^th February. Cancer campaigns are organized in three-year cycles for greater exploration of the cancer cause.
