Little Farah Magazine is released every year in the Fall/Winter Season aimed for children aged 5 to 16 years.

What is the process?

The Design and Marketing stages occurs during the editing time.

The Little Farah Magazine team will keep informed the mother or father of the writer up to date on the progress of the publication.

The writer will receive Certificate of Participation

Eligibility for writing for Little Farah Magazine

Must be within the age of 5 to 16 years old from any religion, race, or creed.

Adults who write children books are also welcome.

Formatting your manuscript

Font: Times New Roman

Font size: 12

Style: Chicago

Spelling: English UK Grammar

Number of words: No more than 500.

Name of writer or artist: As part of Data Protection and Safeguarding procedure, your last name or surname is not published. The first name or initials are allowed. If the writer prefers to remain anonymous or not known this is also permitted.

Biography of writer or artist: This should be no more than 30 words that shares what are your hobbies and why do you like writing. The name of the country is allowed and your age can be published. However, birthday, name of school or any other identifiable information cannot be shared publicly.

Types of work I can publish:

Your submission can be an illustration you have drawn or a literary piece (poem/article/short story). The theme/topic should be respected.

I have problems with spelling and grammar, can I still participate?

Yes of course! We do not discriminate anyone from any ethnic background, disability or age and our writing team will help you.

There is a picture I would like alongside my work; can I use it?

Please ask your parent or guardian to help you find a picture that can be found on Pexels, Shutterstock, Vector, Dreamtimes or Free stock photos.

How to reference: Harvard referencing
