It is quite common that during this era of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA), everything seems uncertain. All the news about mental health issues and the increasing number of suicidal victims bring anxiety to our thoughts and impacts how we view the world.
So, what are the tips that can help you overcome things that may trigger your anxiety?
Here are my four suggestions to help you mitigate any anticipated stress or potential signs of depression:

Stay Mindful and Positive:
Being mindful will keep you mentally healthy and keep your mental grip in a good state.
How do you stay positive?
Pray. It will help you in so many ways. Praying will strengthen your faith, and it will empower your belief that all your worries are temporary and will eventually vanish.
According to the Islamic tradition, to believe that God (Allah) The Almighty will always protect you is a spiritual practice named as Tawakkul; which means a feeling of reliance or full trust that God Himself will make the best out of the worst even if we cannot see it yet.

Having Adequate and Balanced Information.
You must not overly watch the news or spend too much time on social media or television, especially the overwhelming and intense negative information about the current issues related to mental health and/or economic recession. It will be much wiser to limit that because it is easy to gain access to negative news; hence, this negative information will trigger your anxiety and will lead to depression.

Be Aware of Your Own Physical Health
Please, pay attention to your basic needs (food and nourishment). Please, ensure you have nutritious foods and sleep well. Do not forget to have your meals around the same usual time. Try your best to do some physical activities and exercise so that you stay fit.

Do Things That Makes You Feel Happy
To manage your mood and positivity, make sure to do the type of activities that cheer you up like hobbies, for instance, writing, exercising, doodling, painting, dancing, etc.
This is the perfect time to explore your interests and make something out of it. Hobbies can boost your mood and your immune system; this also will keep you healthy.
