11th till 13th Dhul Hijjah – Days Of Tashreeq

Days of Tashreeq (Dhul Hijjah 11th–13th)

Right now, pilgrims remain in Mina during the Days of Tashreeq, continuing the remembrance of Allah after the major rituals of Hajj.

They perform the stoning of the Jamarat each day, following the steps of submission and resisting Shaytan. These days are not rushed; they are filled with dhikr, takbeer, and reflection, slowing the heart down after the intensity of Eid day.

The ritual of stoning continues, but now with a sense of calm completion, as the journey of Hajj gradually nears its end.

These are known as days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah, showing that Islam balances worship with gratitude and joy.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“The Days of Tashreeq are days of eating, drinking, and remembering Allah”

[Hadith, Sahih Muslim]

What Can We Do On This Day?

On this day, let us keep our tongues busy with takbeer and dhikr, and reflect on consistency in worship, even after emotional peak moments.
